Sample Interview Evaluation Sheet

It is now important to practice for your residency interviews. Before your first residency interview, complete at least three 20-minute practice interviews in-person or on Zoom.

To set up a mock interview, email your mentor(s), family members, or friends and ask to schedule a date for a mock interview in September. Provide them with the attached list of sample interview questions and an evaluation sheet.

As an applicant, pretend you are interviewing at one of your favorite programs. Set a timer for 20-minutes. Ask the mock interviewer to give you feedback directly afterward using the attached form. You can even record the interaction to watch your body language and listen to your answers later on.
